The hospital in Ljungby serves an area of about 52,000 inhabitants. Here, qualified emergency care is provided around the clock.

The medical clinic in Ljungby consists of about 150 employees from various professions. There is a medical reception with clinical physiology, bone density measurement (for the entire Kronoberg County), medical day care, and a dialysis department. The inpatient care consists of a department divided into two sides, one focused on stroke/neurology and internal medicine, while the other is focused on cardiology and internal medicine. The emergency department is open 24/7.

At the medical clinic, there is a good collaborative climate. We have the advantages of a small clinic and are open to our own ideas and suggestions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a specialist in cardiology who wants to be part of an engaged and competent team in Ljungby. Internal medicine as a supplementary specialty is an advantage. As a cardiologist in Ljungby, you will be offered a varied job in the department, outpatient clinic (including ICD clinic), and clinical physiology. If you have pacemaker competence, it is an advantage, and there is an opportunity to participate in the pacemaker activities at our partner hospital in Växjö. The position also includes on-call duties as a backup or emergency consultant during daytime, evenings, and weekends.

We value professional development and offer opportunities for further education through participation in courses and at national or international congresses. Region Kronoberg also has its own R&D center with several researchers.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed physician and double specialist in internal medicine and cardiology. As a person, you are structured, responsible, and have good communication skills. You enjoy working in a team and are receptive.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language is a prerequisite, both spoken and written. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
